  • Flight, Critical Care, Community, Wilderness and Tactical Paramedic Certification provides validation of the certificant's knowledge, expertise, and experience; while assuring the general public the paramedic has met a defined level for competency and currency on the domain.

Requirements

To qualify, all flight, critical care, community, wilderness or tactical paramedics on staff must have their current FP-C, CCP-C, CP-C, WP-C, or TP-C credential.

The Flight Paramedic Certification (FP-C), Critical Care Paramedic Certification
(CCP-C), Community Paramedic Certification (CP-C), Wilderness Paramedic Certification (WP-C), and the Tactical Paramedic Certification (TP-C) are valid for four years and may be renewed by CE or retesting. The FP-C, CCP-C, CP-C, WP-C, and TP-C Exams can be taken electronically at a designated testing center, remotely proctored through a testing center, or manually at an exam host site. Candidates must hold a current unrestricted paramedic license in the state or country of practice, and have significant experience working in air transport, critical care, community medicine, remote and austere, or tactical environments.
